Thristy crow story in Sanskrit

Once upon a time , there was a crow in the Jungle .It was the hot summer season. The crow was very thirsty. So the crow flew everywhere in search of water . But unfortunately the crow could not find water. The crow became tired and disappointed. Suddenly the crow saw a water pot nearby. The crow became very happy. The crow flew towards the pot. There was some water inside the pot.

एकदा , जङ्गले एकः काकः आसीत् । उष्णः ग्रीष्मकालः आसीत् । काकः अतीव तृषितः आसीत् । अतः काकः जलं अन्वेष्य सर्वत्र उड्डीयत। परन्तु दुर्भाग्येन काकः जलं न प्राप्नोत् । काकः श्रान्तः निराशः च अभवत् । सहसा काकः अपश्यत्समीपे जलकुम्भम् । काकः अतीव प्रसन्नः अभवत् । काकः घटः प्रति उड्डीयत। घटस्य अन्तः किञ्चित् जलम् आसीत् ।

The crow tried to drink water but failed. The water level was very low. After a few attempts he gave up and started thinking. There were stones near the pot. The crow thought a plan. He picked a stone and dropped it inside the pot. The crow repeated the process again and again. Finally the water rose up to satisfactory level. The crow drank the water and flew away.

काकः जलं पिबितुं प्रयत्नं कृतवान् परन्तु असफलः अभवत् । जलस्तरः अतीव न्यूनः आसीत् । कतिपयप्रयत्नानन्तरं सः त्यक्त्वा चिन्तयितुं आरब्धवान् । घटस्य समीपे शिलाः आसन्। काकः योजनां चिन्तितवान्। सः शिलाम् उद्धृत्य घटस्य अन्तः पातितवान् । सः काकः पुनः पुनः प्रक्रियाम् अकरोत्। अन्ते जलं सन्तोषजनकस्तरं यावत् उन्नतम् अभवत् । काकः जलं पिबन् उड्डीय गतः।
